Welcome
My name is Sherri. My husband Matt and I are so proud of our 2 great kids who joined our family through the blessing of adoption.
Micayla is our oldest and she has DiGeorge Syndrome. She was diagnosed before birth. She had her first heart surgery at 9 days old. It's been rough at times but she is doing great!!
I created this blog as a place where families dealing with VCFS can link together to share our trials, triumphs, fears and dreams.
Along the left hand side here you will see a list of families/kids that are dealing with VCFS, if you would like to be linked there please comment with your link or email sherriwj@msn.com If there is something that you would like to post please let me know.

Hi Sherri,
Of course you can put a link to our blog:

Wow! Kindergarden huh? How exciting for you!
Thank you so much for responding to Elijah's blog. We do need prayer and we do need to grt word out.23 yrs. ago when my daughter was born w/ vcfs noone had any idea what was wrong other than fiwing her asd/vsd. The speech and learning disabilities were never figured ot until Elijah was diagnosed with full blown DiGeorge. Now, Janet & I have the answers we searched for all of her life. Too late for our ANGEL...
But we want everyone to know, as you do , how easy it is to find out now. If only more doctors , pediatricians,& o.b.'s are made familiar w/ the signs and symptoms so someone else will know what to expect and where to find the right help. We would NEVER suggest abortion, as alot of babies survive. And we would take NOTHING for the time we had with our Angel.
It is sad, when parents find more info. on the net than the docs have to offer and the docs will not listen to the parents, instead, playing God with the life of a child.
Again, thank you for helping to inform everyone...may your children continue to blossom.
Grammie
